Margit was born and raised in Vienna Austria. She is fluent in English, German, & French. English & German being her native tongue. Margit moved to the United States when she was 16. Margit always jokes that she started her career in Accounting a little bit backwards. Her career began with a Masters in Translation and Interpretation where she ended up working in the software industry. Eventually she got into taxes which led to her receiving her EA in 2003, Masters in taxation in 2014, a Bachelors in Accounting in 2020, followed by becoming a CPA shortly after. Margit has 2 daughters. She loves horse back riding, cooking, baking, running, and walking. A fun fact about Margit is that she does dog agility training. We love having Margit on our team in the SLC office/working remotely.
