J.W. Davies
Co-Founder & Tax Partner
J.W. grew up in Fillmore, Utah on a farm and learned the meaning of hard work, motivation and commitment. After attending Snow College, J.W. moved to Logan and graduated with his Master of Accounting degree from Utah State University with an emphasis in taxation. J.W. worked for Cook Martin Poulson for 14 years and opened their Salt Lake City and Heber City offices. He also assisted Brad Allen in opening the Orem office.
In 2012, J.W. took the opportunity to start a new firm with Brad Allen. He has expertise in business taxation and regularly consults with clients on both purchases and exits from their businesses. He works with successful entrepreneurs to minimize their taxes and add value to their estates. J.W. loves entrepreneurship and has spent a significant amount of time building Invest Nest, a Utah high school business competition, to awaken the entrepreneurial spirit of our youth. While J.W. enjoys his profession, he thrives on the relationships with his clients and his family. J.W. is married to Jennifer Judy Davies and has five children.

Dustin Barnhurst
Tax Partner
Dustin grew up in the small town of Fillmore, UT, where he spent much of his teenage and young adult summers in the construction trades doing whatever was necessary and gained a great perspective of that industry. He spent most of his time involved in school, and when possible playing sports and going fishing. Transportation in those days was scarce, so he typically traveled on horseback via his trusted friend, Wrangler. Dustin attended Snow College, where he earned his Associate Degree of Business, and met his beautiful wife McKenzie. After Snow, it was on to Southern Utah University where he earned multiple degrees beginning with his Bachelor of Accounting, followed by a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Accountancy. He soon began his professional career in public accounting at Deloitte in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he worked in their audit department. Now he feels at Davies Allen, P.C. He resides with his wife and children in Grantsville, UT.Will Bryan

Will joined the firm as a small business specialist, bringing with him the wisdom and judgment gained while working for ventures in the manufacturing, construction, and service industries. His first-hand experience growing small businesses provides him an acute understanding of the challenges that owners and entrepreneurs face every day. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business management and holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Utah, including a specialized emphasis in assurance services. Will loves spending time with his wife, Shannon, and their six children who enjoy the outdoor activities of camping, horseback riding, and working on their hobby farm. They also travel to soccer fields all around Utah, playing, watching, and cheering for the team.Baden Davies

Baden was born, raised, and currently resides in the booming metropolis of Fillmore, UT, where he was raised driving tractors, delivering burial vaults, and taking flower orders working for each of his family’s three businesses. Through years of hard work and long hours Baden has become accustomed to doing whatever it takes to get the job done. While on the road to becoming an accountant he was sidetracked by working as a firefighter for the Bureau of Land Management. Fighting wildfires was hard work with long and unpredictable hours. He’s since been lured back into accounting with Davies Allen, and into the career he intended while majoring in Accounting at Snow College, where he earned an Associate’s Degree, and later studied at Southern Utah University. Baden works in the Fillmore office.Chad Allen

Chad grew up in the farming community of Raft River, Idaho where livestock outnumber people at least 100 to 1. At a young age, he developed hard work, perseverance and a desire to serve others. If Chad were a tool, he would be a swiss army knife. He has a broad and deep knowledge across a variety of subjects like investing, financial modeling, tax and he enjoys helping clients find solutions to their most challenging problems. After graduating from Brigham Young University, he spent 7 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management – most recently as a Vice President where he was responsible for qualitative and quantitative research of information technology companies. Chad is a proud father of 5 girls (#girldad). When he is not crunching numbers and helping clients he can be found on his road or mountain bike.Rusty Hansen

Troy Jolley
Tax Partner
Troy is from Holden America. His first job after college was at the Utah State Tax Commission as a corporate tax auditor. Troy quickly realized he would much rather help people save taxes so he earned his CPA license and began a career in public accounting. My favorite part of this career, besides the number crunching, is the relationships he has built. He feels honored to work with such great people. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Southern Utah University. Troy and his family are pickle-ball addicts. He can’t not be happy when he is playing pickle-ball. Favorite TV show is The Office. He loves smoking meat and loves eating meat. They love the outdoors and are grateful to live in such a beautiful state. We love sports whether we are watching or playing. Really, Troy just loves life and wants to create amazing memories and experiences for his family. Troy and his wife have been married 15 years and have 3 wonderful children. Although they are starting to get into their teenage years so he says he might have to report back if they are still wonderful or not 😉Wendy Dalton

Wendy hails to us from Juneau, Alaska where she lived and thrived for over 26 years. The natural wonders and brilliance of Alaska are no-doubt reflected in her personality. Ask her anytime about her home State where she was raised in a US Coast Guard family and you’ll see what we mean. Her responsibilities at Davies Allen include Client Experience Manager where her personal and professional skills as a planner, organizer, and smiling spirit of the office are felt on a daily basis. In her time away from the office she finds the rare moment for herself to enjoy photography and quilting, but mostly she is a loving task master on a tight ship as mother and wife.Daniel Roundy

Daniel grew up in the small town of Glendale, Utah where he and his brothers would find old, abandoned cars and push them down a hill with one of them seat belted in. At the bottom of the hill, at max speed, they would crank the wheel and see how many times they could roll the car. He was one of seven brothers who could be found hunting, fishing and playing sports. At a young age he worked in the logging industry with his father and most of his brothers where he learned the value of hard work. He attended Southern Utah University and graduated with a Master of Accountancy degree. After working in Mesquite, Nevada and then moving to Utah County to work in healthcare industry, he joined Davies Allen. Daniel brings with him a hard work ethic and a desire to help people understand finances and make the most of their businesses. Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and little boy. He still enjoys sports and can be found outdoors when time permits.Zach McNaughtan

Zach grew up in the beautiful Heber Valley where he discovered the value of working hard, laughing often, and loving life. After graduating from Wasatch High School, Zach migrated South to become a mighty Thunder Bird at Southern Utah University. Zach was heavily involved with student organizations and worked diligently to make a lasting impact on the campus. He is passionate about helping entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses achieve success. Although there is no equation for guaranteed success, Zach believes that getting the right people in the right seats on the bus makes the journey more profitable and enjoyable. Zach loves working at Davies + Allen because of the culture of counting people first. When not working at Davies + Allen, Zach can often be found learning a new skill, making a new friend, or boating on the lake. Dalton is a Senior Tax Manager at Davies Allen. He has 6 years of experience in public accounting focusing on tax compliance, strategy, and planning. He is a CPA, holding a double Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance as well as a Master’s degree in Accounting. Hi parents taught him the value of hard work young, and he has always had a drive to get things done. Growing up he enjoyed playing various sports and working on his Grandpa’s farm. When Dalton isn’t working you can find him at the gym, fishing, hunting, or spending quality time with his family.Michelle Clark

Michelle grew up in the beautiful town of Heber City where she enjoyed gymnastics and volleyball. She originally traveled to Southern Utah University to study Graphic Design and Business. However, after her first week in Accounting, she quickly changed course and followed her father’s footsteps to a degree in accounting. Michelle is a QuickBooks expert and brings a great attitude and work ethic to our team. When she’s not working with numbers, Michelle enjoys hiking in the mountains, photography and going to the movies with friends and family. Though she has never been a fan of cold weather, she has recently learned how to snowboard so she can enjoy the great Utah winters.Rebecca Daley

Rebecca was born in Southern Idaho, but has lived in many places including other areas of Idaho, Montana, and Utah–Salem, Utah is now home. She is the youngest of eleven children and loves any time spent with them and her many nieces and nephews. Rebecca has several years of prior experience in the accounting and tax departments at various companies. She joined Davies Allen in 2024 and has enjoyed being part of a driven culture, working with an amazing team, and helping a great group of clients to make more informed financial decisions, for their businesses and personally. She most enjoys working with clients in agricultural and blue collar industries–likely because she can relate the most to them. She earned her undergraduate degree from Utah Valley University and her Master of Accountancy from Southern Utah University and is currently working toward a CPA license. When she has free time, she’s probably outside—camping, dirt biking, fishing, at the range, or with horses. When the weather is not so great, she’ll switch gears and enjoy sewing, leatherworking, cooking, or painting.Alec Anderson

As a Tax Manager and Certified Public Accountant, Alec provides tax compliance and advisory services to individuals and business owners. He enjoys serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for his clients, helping them structure their businesses effectively, reduce tax exposure, and make informed decisions that support long-term financial success. From a young age, Alec worked in his family’s business, where he gained firsthand insight into the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship. That experience shaped his appreciation for the value business owners bring to their communities and the broader economy. He carries that perspective into his work today, advising entrepreneurs as they grow, plan, and work toward building a lasting legacy. Alec is known for his clear communication and practical approach to problem solving. He values long-term client relationships and works closely with clients as their businesses and personal financial needs evolve.Justin Adamson

Justin grew up in Payson, Utah. He worked for his dad who owned and operated a construction company in Utah Valley. His dad taught him the values of hard work and being honest. Later, Justin started a small heating and air conditioning company. He ran the heating and air conditioning company for three years and decided to move back to Utah and finish his accounting degree. Justin is currently attending UVU for his bachelor’s degree. His past experience in small business gives him a sincere desire to help others succeed in starting and operating small businesses. Justin loves spending time with his wife and two little girls. They enjoy the outdoors: hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, and riding four wheelers.Parker Menlove

Parker Menlove was raised in American Fork, Utah, where he developed a strong work ethic and an appreciation for building long-term relationships. He earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master’s in Accountancy from Utah Valley University. Prior to joining Davies Allen, Parker spent over a decade balancing public accounting with 12 years of service in the Utah Army National Guard, where he learned the importance of leadership, clear communication, and earning trust while working with people from all backgrounds. These experiences shaped his ability to listen carefully, explain complex topics simply, and guide others through high-stakes decisions — skills that translate directly into his work as a tax professional.
At Davies Allen, Parker focuses on helping individuals and business owners navigate tax compliance and planning with confidence. He is known for his practical approach, attention to detail, and commitment to helping clients understand not just what they owe, but why — and how to plan better going forward. Outside of work, Parker enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors, especially fly fishing, camping, and gathering around a campfire with those closest to him.”
Jaxon Winn

Jaxon Winn is from Elmo, Utah. Jaxon is a Tax Intern at Davies Allen. He graduated in December of 2021 with a Bachelors in Accounting. Jaxon starts the MAcc program in the Fall of 2022 at Utah Valley University.Lyza Pashchenko

Will grew up in Heber City, Utah, and learned the value of hard work at a young age. He had the opportunity to haul hay with his family and change water lines with his grandfather. For several years he worked in the construction field, where he learned how to work in teams to complete difficult tasks. Currently, Will has his Masters degree in Accounting. He loves sports and is a long-time Boston Red Sox fan with a baseball bat collection second to none. David and his wife Kylie have one daughter that occupies any free time they have. Riley grew up in Medford, Oregon and graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s in accounting and international business as well as a minor in Spanish. She joined Davies Allen in 2025 as a tax associate and is currently pursuing her CPA license. Outside of work Riley enjoys spending time with her pets, getting outdoors with her family, and cooking for loved ones.
Dylan Bartlett

Dylan grew up in Beaver Utah where he learned the value of hard work through multiple years in the construction trades. He attended Southern Utah University where he served as the president of the Professional Accountancy Club helping connect students with employers throughout the accounting industry. Dylan Graduated with his Masters of Accountancy in December of 2024 and is currently pursuing his CPA license. When he is not at work Dylan spends his time in the great outdoors, Hiking, fishing, or paddle boarding.Eli Morgan

Eli is from Heber City, Ut. Eli is currently attending Utah Valley University working toward his Masters of Accountancy. His hobbies include playing sports, especially basketball, soccer, volleyball, and lacrosse. He loves listening to music (his favorite is classic rock), watching movies, and playing the guitar. He also enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and wakeboarding. Eli is originally from Southern California and also lived in Colorado before moving to Heber. Tyler is from Springville, Utah, and is a tax associate here at Davies Allen. He recently graduated from Southern Utah University with a degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance and I’m currently pursuing a Masters of Accountancy and an MBA from Southern Utah University as well. He has been married to his wife since the fall of 2021 and if it’s warm enough we’ll be constantly playing pickleball or out on the lake wake surfing. Other hobbies Tyler is passionate about include football, baseball, skiing, and wakeboarding. He also enjoys coaching and loves helping people gain new skills and solving issues that will allow them to be the best they can be.William Findling

William Findling grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and has lived in Utah for more than a decade. A graduate of the University of Utah, William earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting in May 2025 following his studies at Salt Lake Community College. He is currently back at the “U” pursuing a Master of Accounting with a tax emphasis.
William joined the Davies Allen team just before graduation. He is passionate about helping clients minimize tax liabilities through strategic planning for both individuals and businesses. In his free time, William enjoys skiing, keeping up with the latest season of Survivor, and trying out local restaurants with his wife, Amanda.
Kregan Wilson

Kregan was born in Indiana and raised in Pennsylvania. He values meaningful time with his family and enjoys both playing and watching soccer. An avid snowboarder, he takes every opportunity to get on the slopes. Kregan also has a strong passion for travel and holds a lifelong goal of exploring all of Europe. He is set to graduate from Utah Valley University in Spring 2026 and plans to continue his academic journey by pursuing a master’s degree at Utah Valley University. Following his graduate studies, he aspires to earn his CPA license and continue building a successful career in the accounting profession.
Nithra Atwood

Nithra is a dedicated Staff Accountant in the Advisory Department at Davies Allen, where she has been sharing her accounting expertise since 2023. With a decade of experience in the field, she brings professionalism and a genuine passion for helping clients in every engagement. Outside the office, Nithra and her husband share a joyful home filled with the laughter of their sweet little girl and the playful antics of two dogs and two cats. Family time is at the heart of everything she does, and she treasures moments spent creating lasting memories. Nithra believes that a well–rounded life fuels professional success. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT Nithra enjoys fishing and relaxing at home with her family. With her upbeat demeanor and thoughtful approach, Nithra brings both expertise and enthusiasm to her work and personal pursuits. Sabrina is originally from Mérida, Venezuela. Spanish is her first language, and she spent three years living in Spain while her dad completed his PhD. That experience sparked Sabrina’s love for traveling and exploring new cultures. Outside of work, Sabrina loves snowboarding, hiking, baking, playing video games with her husband, and spending time with her 1 year old daughter.
Family and meaningful experiences are really important to Sabrina, and she brings that same care and dedication to Davies Allen as a staff accountant in our Advisory Department.
Bridger Bunnell

Bridger Bunnell is from Cedar City, Utah. Fun fact: his first name is actually Stephen but he goes by Bridger. He is an Advisory Accountant Intern at Davies Allen. Bridger currently attends Southern Utah University and is studying Accounting and Computer Science. Bridger loves baseball, reading, snowboarding, and wakeboarding. He also enjoys spending time outdoors and with his family. He is the oldest of three children, played baseball for Augustana University, and served an LDS mission on the west coast of Africa. Leslie grew up in the Heber Valley. Raised on a family farm and working at her dad’s trucking company, she learned the value of hard work, responsibility, discipline, teamwork skills and giving every task her all.
After school she spent five years working in the resort industry, where she developed a passion for exceptional customer service. She later transitioned into accounting and has now dedicated thirteen years to bookkeeping, where she excels in understanding client needs and managing financial information with accuracy and care.
Outside of work, Leslie loves spending time outdoors – hiking, going to the lake, and taking road trips whenever she can. She also enjoys reading, playing games with family, and watching sports – especially football. Time with family is one of her greatest joys and a constant source of fun and connection.
Brittney Holman

Brittney grew up in Littleton, Colorado and began her journey in accounting and finance at Dixie State University. After moving to Delta, Utah with her husband to start a family, she continued her education through Southern Utah University and Western Governors University, ultimately earning a business teaching license and a Master’s in Accounting. Before coming to Davies Allen, Brittney shared her love for accounting with her students at Delta High School as the Business and Marketing teacher. Brittney is passionate about her work and enjoys helping clients with their financial needs. Outside the office, she finds her greatest joy in being a wife and mother to three wonderful children. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and traveling all over the state to cheer on her kids in all their sports and activities. Brittney works in the Fillmore office.Allie Quarnberg

Allie grew up in Ephraim, Utah and spent most of her years growing up on a soccer field where she learned the importance of hard work. After graduating from high school, Allie attended Snow College and Southern Utah University where she graduated with her Master of Accounting degree with an emphasis in Taxation. She joined Davies Allen in 2024 and is currently working towards her CPA license. Allie and her husband enjoy playing pickleball and being outdoors. You can catch them at a lake fishing or at a soccer tournament supporting their families. If the weather is bad, you can also find her curled up with a good book.Tyra Harward

Tyra grew up in Beaver, Utah, where the community values of hard work, family, and love are strong. Tyra completed her Bachelor’s in Accounting from Southern Utah University in 2024. She prides herself on being organized, professional, and telling a good joke. Tyra loves the word “Good”. She is grateful to be employed at Davies Allen because it is a Good firm that hires Good employees who do Good work for Good people. Tyra prioritizes her family above all else and is honored to be a part of the Davies Allen Family. When she is not working, she enjoys time with her husband in the mountains or scrapbooking.
John Rawls
Audit Associate
John grew up in Wetumpka, Alabama, where he spent his time playing football, wrestling, fishing, and hunting. While working on a farm, he was taught by a great mentor and friend that hard work isn’t just about effort—it’s about doing every job to the very best of your ability. After serving a two-year mission for his church in Canada, John moved to Utah and graduated from Southern Utah University with a double major in Finance and Accounting.
Now an Audit Associate here at Davies Allen, John is currently working toward his CPA license. When he is not at work, John can be found with his lovely wife, Alisa, and their wonderful two-year-old daughter. He also enjoys serving in his church, reading, running, and watching Alabama football.
Stevanie Coburn

Stevanie was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho but grew up all over Utah and now resides in Heber, Utah. As the oldest (and only girl) of 5 children, she learned early the importance of responsibility and hard work. She grew up with a football coach for a dad and a teacher as a mom, whose examples taught her who she was and what it meant to achieve greatness. She played volleyball competitively for 11 years which taught her how to push through the tough times life can throw at you as well as how to work as a team to achieve results. Her positive view on life keeps her always working towards goals and allows her to help others along the way. If she is helping others and working hard, she is happy. Stevanie has a medical education background but has an extensive background in Administrative work. She catches onto new skills quickly and can adapt to a variety of different work environments. She loves working for Davies Allen and loves the company’s motto of counting people first. McCall was born and raised in Southern Utah, but she has called the Heber Valley home for the past 11 years. She is best described as friendly, disciplined, and confident. McCall loves spending time with her husband and their three kids, enjoying travel and outdoor adventures. She and her husband have an annual tradition of hiking Rim to Rim to Rim of the Grand Canyon in under 20 hours! In addition to her work at Davies Allen, McCall continues to teach dance at a local studio, fulfilling the creative and competitive side of her personality. She values the opportunity Davies Allen provides to connect with clients and strives to not only meet but exceed their expectations.Brittany Rashak

Brittany was raised in San Diego, CA but has been in the Heber Valley for almost a decade. She has a Bachelor’s from Brigham Young University – Idaho in Professional Studies, and enjoys continuing her education in UX Design and Graphic Design when time permits. Her hobbies include showing and trialing with her dog, gardening, reading, and pilates. She has been with Davies Allen for over two years and has greatly enjoyed getting to know the clients and working hard!
Kate Rojas

Katelyn (Kate) has lived in Utah, Arizona, and Texas. Since the age of 16 she always worked in medically related fields, including work as a CNA and MA. Kate wanted to try out her organizational skills while still helping people, leading to her Administrative Assistant position at Davies+Allen. Kate’s world revolves around her three dogs, her fur babies. She loves to go target shooting, watching comedy movies and TV shows (“The Office” being her favorite). Kate also loves crafts, DIY projects, and baking. Kate has been married to her husband Zach for four years. He is her best friend and loves watching “The Office” as much as she does. Some fun facts about Kate are; she has 14 siblings, she loves small towns, she loves to learn, she loves showing clients that she really cares, and is motivated by providing a great experience for the clients she interacts with.Nicole Black

Nicole Black is a Utah native with California roots. She is known for her curiosity, creativity, and passion for building meaningful connections. She shares a lively home with her husband and their four wonderful children, who bring joy, laughter, and a constant sense of adventure. A lifelong learner, Nicole enjoys capturing moments through photography, exploring new ideas, and diving into nonfiction reads that fuel personal growth. Her favorite motto, “You never know until you try,” reflects her open-minded and proactive approach to both life and work. Outside of work, Charlize loves to travel, craft, read, and try new things. She currently lives in Salt Lake City with her two fur babies.
Joanna Waldie

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Joanna went abroad to the UK for her undergrad and Masters degrees. Having spent a few years post-college working as a Medical Assistant in South Florida, Joanna and her husband moved to Heber City in the Summer of 2025. Joanna likes to spend her spare time, reading, playing tennis, and exploring what Heber Valley has to offer with her husband.

Lyndin grew up in Fillmore and is excited to be back in the community working at the Davies Allen Fillmore location. She has over five years of experience working in office settings, where she’s developed a strong passion for organization, efficiency, and connecting with people. She has been married for nine years and is a proud parent to one daughter, along with two energetic dogs.
